The lessons and laments of an ex-trapping, ex-kiting, sort-of-ex-PvPing Survival Hunter
Just how OLD are you???
Old enough to have a son graduating high school.
How did you get away with “Oilcan” on an RP server?
First, some RP ( Prologue ), which Blizzard completely ignored. Second, my wife set up the account for my son, so it was HER email they sent the ticket to. After she forwarded and I replied to Blizz and got from responses (several times, to HER email), she had had enough. A final email from her to Blizzard “fix this before I shoot him”, and someone at Blizz had a heart (or more likely, legal advice), and I got “Oilcan” back.
Do you really liberate kittens?
Horde seem to have a taste (literally and figuratively) for kittens, so I’m always happy to return their kittens to a proper home. Also, the Cat Lady in Elwynn Forest is getting way too old to care for all those kitties…
I think you Communist Reds and Socialist Pinkos should be rounded up and shot! What do you say to that?!?
Grow up, get a life, it’s a game. Trust me, the FBI knows who you are.
Does your wife play WoW? / How does your wife feel about you playing WoW?
She’s early to bed, I’m a niteowl. She’s usually fast asleep by the time I get online, having already kicked me out of bed. And I’ve promised not to look over her shoulder to “help” her with the mystery/clue finding games she plays….
You say you’re unemployed…what did you USE to do?
For 17 years and 3 companies, I was a warehouse/operations/distribution/inventory manager. Mostly, the companies bought stuff to resell, either to the public or to a trade. With the current economy, if they’re not already out of business, companies’ sales are down, they’re cutting inventory and staff, etc. I was laid off as a direct result of my last company’s loss of business.
Why “The Grease Trap”?
I’m a hunter (goes with Trap) and the name’s Oilcan (Grease). Also, I intend for the blog to be less about theorycrafting or raid numbers, and more about the jetsam and flotsam of playing WoW every day….the stuff that’s left after the “meat” is cooked.
